Of Mangroves, Development, and Climate Change

Taaaaallll mangroves being cut to give way to development. What about climate change and protection of the people? What about economic and infrastructural growth versus protecting eco-diversity? How can we find a balance? What are your thoughts?

Utilities - Private vs Public

Should a country have utilities nationalized or privatized? I think the critical ones should be nationalized or well-regulated, and that would be water, electricity and household gas.
